I thought of coming back here to re-connect with a "me" that really seemed to have lived so long ago. Reading most of the past posts has truly been nostalgic.
20six.co.uk has a very special place in my hear. Really!
This was the first blogging platform that I ever used and it was also a platform where friendships have been formed and to this day, continues to grow.
There was a time when 20six.co.uk was THE BEST place. Then, some people thought it needed a change for the better. I personally don't feel it was for the better. "If it ain't broke, don't FIX IT!"
After the new platform was introduced many of my 20six friends had decided to blog elsewhere. Most of us DID try to get use to the platform but there were just too many errors and challenges in re-arranging our blogs that way we would've liked it to be kept. Despite our efforts, many of us left :-(
I did too.
But leaving was not necessarily a bad thing. As with change comes growth and I certainly have grown up in terms of a blogger. Mostly not about blogging but how to set one up, administer websites from the backend and lo and behold, even edit css templates! :-D
If you look at the far left to the Real Life Links section you will see most of the blogs/sites I have set up since leaving 20six.
I still come back here every now and then and I am actually thinking of starting to post again. We'll see.
It does feel different. It seems much easier to unload my thoughts on 20six than it does on my other blogs. I still haven't figured out what that is, but perhaps then, I will blog here more often.
If so, I hope to make new friends and maybe even find old ones.
Always with love,
df.
